So my wedding is on June 12, 2010 in the evening, around 5:00ish. The ceremony will be held outside and then we're going to move indoors for the reception. The wedding and reception are both being held at a lodge up in Naples--it's a rustic, country looking place with an antler chandelier (how awesome is that?!) and a giant, stuffed turkey. I know this sounds corny, but it's actually very pretty (not the turkey) with all the wood decor and the lights shining against it.
Just some quick facts:
1. Colors: clover green and yellow
2. Theme: daffodils, pearls, butterflies, and Irish. (And yes, I know this is random, but it all fits together and suits my random personality) :)
3. First-Dance Song: "Thank You"--Led Zeppelin
4. Father-Daughter Song: "Butterfly Kisses"
5. Precessional Song (the one I walk down the aisle to): "When Irish Eyes are Smiling"
6. Cake: 3 or 4 tiered Lemon Poppyseed cake with green stenciling and yellow flowers. I'm undecided about the cake topper though; I'm leaning towards a classic bride and groom figurine.
There are a ton of other things about my wedding (but hey, this is what the rest of my blog is about!), so my list just pretty much covers the basics.
I made a wedding notebook. Well, actually I made two. One (the pink one) is a general wedding notebook, while the other one (the white one) is my own personal notebook.
